コロンバイン高校銃乱射事件はアメリカ合衆国コロラド州ジェファーソン郡のコロンバイン高校で1999年4月20日に発生した事件である。トレンチコート・マフィアと自称する同校の生徒、エリック・ハリス(Eric Harris)とディラン・クレボルド(Dylan Klebold)が銃を乱射、12名の生徒および1名の教師を射殺し、両名は自殺した。重軽傷者は24名。学校における乱射事件としては、2007年4月16日にバージニア工科大学銃乱射事件が起きるまでアメリカ史上最悪であり、学校に対する攻撃としても2番目に大規模なものであった。

もう、10年（日本時間だと昨日で）になるんですね。
Marilyn Mansonが全く的外れな批判をされたり、Michael MooreやGus Van Santによって映画の題材にされたり当時は話題になっていましたが、僕含め人間って都合がいい生き物で自分に関係が無い事は忘れてしまう事が多いです。
こんな事件があってもガンガン銃を作るし、売るし、買うし、平気で撃つ訳で何も変わっていないのかもしれません。
